Savanna

Spread across the central Brazilian plateau, Cerrado is the world's richest biodiversity savannah. Its unique nature preserves more than 10,000 botanical species and has high levels of endemism, of which 44% are exclusive to this biome. Among the animals, there are approximately 180 reptiles, 113 amphibians, 837 birds and 195 mammals.

Besides the great variety of fauna and flora, the Cerrado also impresses by the scenic beauty, exalting its plateaus, canyons, beautiful waterfalls, and crystalline rivers.
